Music Lesson Policies
All students are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. Kids Rock Free® reserves the right to refuse instruction to any child that does not comply. Order of disciplinary action will be as follows:
Minor and first offenses will result in a verbal warning from the instructor.
Major or continued offenses will result in the child being sent to the office. The parents will be immediately notified and the child marked absent. Continuation of the child's lessons will be at the teacher’s discretion after a meeting with the parents.
Attendance at each class session is critical. Students who miss more than one class in a session may not be eligible for end of class performances. Advance notification is recommended if it is known that the child will miss a class. It is also important that students bring all course materials to each class. Those who come to class without course materials are considered absent. Students who miss more than one class in a session, may not be eligible for end of class performanes.
Students who complete the beginning lessons will be given priority in placement for future classes.
If a student is invited to participate in a Kids Rock Free combo band or drum line the student MUST be enrolled in a class or pay the full tuition for the band/drum line.
Parents that do not meet registration deadlines to re-enroll for each session will result in their child being automatically dropped from the program or be subject to a $20 re-enrollment fee, in addition to tuition.
No Refund Policy: All payments are final. No refunds, No exceptions regardless of unforeseen circumstances or changes to class schedules. Payments cannot be rolled over to cover cost of future classes.
Children are under supervision during their instruction time only. To ensure your child’s safety, please be sure to pick him/her up promptly after class. Children waiting before and/or after their class are NOT supervised. Neither teachers nor administrative staff is responsible for supervising children outside of teaching time.
