The Ceremony

We recommend arrival no less than 1 hour prior to the start of the ceremony to the ceremony location so that the bride may be hidden from guests, video team can place a microphone on the groom, and church officials can coordinate.

Please speak to your wedding officiant in advance to request they wear a digital recording device so your videographer can capture the message clearly. Your videographer will place this discreet recorder prior to the ceremony and remove immediately following.

Do you have rules for your photographer/videographer from your ceremony location?
Typically we find a vantage point and stay there for the duration, but some clients want multiple angles and don’t mind the slight distraction. What is your preference?
Would you prefer the processional images be captured from the front or the back of the ceremony location if rules allow?
What is the length of time of the ceremony?
Will there be a unity candle, sand ceremony, or ribbon tying element to your ceremony?
How many readings will there be?

The Romantics

Please confirm permit or availability with your preferred location. Many properties will only allow photography with advance permission if your ceremony and/or reception are hosted on the property.
The Romantics is what we call the time that we will spend capturing fun images with the bridal party and images with just the bride and groom. The Romantics is a great time to show your personalities and your photographer"s/videographer"s in your wedding photos.
For clients with two photographers and/or videographers: You may choose to have both photographers/videographers with you during the Romantics or have one capture your cocktail hour and reception details.
