  • Use this form to schedule send dates for communications to any external stakeholder group AND to request service from the Office of Communication & Marketing for planned print, web and email communications.

    Your communication will not appear on the Calendar for Trello unless you submit your project through this form.

      The Office of Communication & Marketing offers advising on marketing and communication strategy, social media, email marketing and design, as well as planning for web and print projects.

      For basic graphic design requests that are not part of a new communication to stakeholders, do not submit this form. Instead, submit this short Graphic Design Request Form. Examples of basic graphic design requests include: photo formatting, a new or updated graphic, web page updates.

      As a general guideline, please leave sufficient time for:

      Copyediting and proofing

      Design

      Approvals

      Printing

      Mailing

      Minor alterations to existing projects Changes to text or photos in brochures, programs, forms, websites up to 1-2 weeks
      Moderate changes to existing projects or small new projects Brochures, advertisements, simple brochures, postcards, one-page fliers 3-5 weeks
      Medium/large new projects and other writing- and design-intensive projects Major brochures, booklets 9 weeks (varies based on complexity)

      For emails, please work with your department's Marketing Cloud-trained individual to build the message and circulate it for approvals. Once approved, the Marketing Cloud-trained individual in your department is authorized to send the email on the date approved by Brad Neathery (neatheryb@darden.virginia.edu). If you need assistance sending the email, contact Jay Hodgkins at hodgkinsj@darden.virginia.edu at least 48 hours before the email is scheduled.
